The same group that tackled the Tuc de Molières tried the ascent of this mountain on 19 March, 2012, in low visibility and something of a blizzard, under the effects of accumulated tiredness and, as if that weren’t enough, with the trip back to Madrid waiting for us that evening. When we were at a height of about 2500 metres, a little before the Estanh Nere de Parros, we decided to head back. There will be other and better opportunities to go up this mountain and Tuc de Barlonguèra, another one of the mountains I would like to do in the Val d´Aran. I have to thank Miguel Alonso for so generously lending us his flat in Vielha. It’s fortunate that there are still people like him in this world.
El mismo grupo que afrontó el Tuc de Molières intentó la ascensión de esta montaña el 19 de marzo de 2012, con algo de cansancio acumulado, algo de ventisca, poca visibilidad y un viaje de vuelta a Madrid esperándonos por la tarde. Cuando estábamos a unos 2500 metros de altura, un poco antes de llegar al Estanh Nere de Parros, decidimos retirarnos. Ya habrá mejores ocasiones para subir a esta montaña y al Tuc de Barlonguèra, que es otra de las montañas que quisiera subir en el Val d´Aran. Tengo que agradecer a Miguel Alonso que nos prestara su casa en Vielha tan generosamente. Es una suerte que todavía quede gente como él.
