Punta Espelunciecha 2399m - 23 May 2010

This delightful mountain can be reached quickly from the Formigal ski resort. Climbing it gives one a view of the North Face of Culibillas Peak, a mountain I may well climb in the future. I say this because it seems to be skiable and because the photo I have of it would really suit this blog. We’ll see whether I finally climb it or not. There are so many mountains in the Pyrenees that I have to accept that it would be very difficult to climb them all. The accompanying photo is of the North face of Punta Espelunciecha as it was on May 23, 2010, the day I climbed along it.

Esta alegre montaña puede alcanzarse con rapidez desde la estación de esquí de Formigal y subirla permite observar la cara Norte del Pico Culibillas, que es una montaña que quizá suba en un futuro porque parece ser que es esquiable y porque la foto que tengo de la misma quedaría muy bien en este blog. Ya veremos si finalmente la subo o no. Hay tantas montañas que quiero subir en el Pirineo que tengo que asimilar que va a ser muy difícil subirlas todas. En la foto que he puesto aquí se ve la cara Norte de la Punta Espelunciecha tal y como estaba el día que yo subí por ella, el 23 de mayo de 2010.
